Movers in East Village, Manhattan

Moving in the East Village? The Golden Truck Moving Company is built for these blocks — classic tenement walk-ups off St. Marks Place and Avenue A, pre-war buildings near Tompkins Square Park, and fourth-floor apartments with no elevator in sight. Our Brooklyn-based crew brings upfront pricing, on-time arrival, and careful handling to every job.

Moving in the East Village: what to know

• Walk-ups: fourth and fifth floors are the norm — we pad banisters and door frames on every job and plan the carry order so heavy pieces move first.
• Tight hallways: tenement layouts mean tight turns — we plan disassembly for pieces that won't fit.
• Parking: truck placement near St. Marks or the avenues takes planning — we handle it so your move starts on time.
