Moving in Washington Heights: what to know

• Walk-ups: steep, narrow stairs are standard here — we pad banisters and door frames on every job and plan the carry order so the heavy pieces move first.
• Pre-war layouts: long hallways and tight doorways need planning — we walk it through before move day when we can.
• Parking: truck placement on Fort Washington Avenue or Broadway takes planning — we handle it so your move starts on time.
