Same-Day Movers in Brooklyn

If you need to move today, The Golden Truck Moving Company is the crew built for it. Our trucks start the morning on Bushwick Avenue — already in Brooklyn, not driving in from somewhere else — so when a job wraps early or a slot opens on the route, we can reach most Brooklyn addresses the same day. Call by mid-morning and there's a real chance you're moved by evening.

Same-day doesn't mean rushed or sloppy. You get the same upfront price, the same wrapped furniture, and the same crew standards as a move booked two weeks out. The only difference is speed: we quote fast, we load fast, and we tell you straight whether today's route can fit you.

How same-day moving works with us

• Call or text (646) 708-4344 early — the earlier, the better. Tell us where you're moving from and to, what you're moving, and the floors. We check the day's route live and give you a yes-or-no in minutes, not hours.
• Fixed price before we start — same-day doesn't change our rates: 2 movers + truck for 2 hours is $400, 3 movers + truck for 3 hours is $585. Stairs: first flight free, then $25 per flight.
• Have the essentials ready: what moves, which floors, whether there's an elevator, and where the truck can park. That five-minute rundown is what lets us slot you in without a callback chain.
• Honest cutoff — if today's route is genuinely full, we won't string you along. We'll offer the first open slot, usually the next morning, and hold it for you.

Same-day moves we're set up for

• Studio and 1-bedroom apartments: the fastest to quote and the easiest to fit into a same-day route. Boxed up or not, we'll tell you what works.
• Partial moves: a bedroom set from a storage unit, furniture from Bushwick to Bed-Stuy, one heavy piece that has to go today. Small loads fill route gaps perfectly.
• Apartment swaps: moving out by noon and into the new place by evening. Two Brooklyn addresses, one truck, one day.
• Storage moves: into or out of storage at 1517 Bushwick Ave or elsewhere in Brooklyn. If the unit's accessible, we can run it today.
• Furniture assembly included: beds, dressers, and sectionals get reassembled on arrival — same as any move.

Why a local truck matters for same-day

Most movers can't do same-day because their trucks start the day across the city and their routes are locked. Ours starts on Bushwick Avenue and runs Brooklyn all day. The truck that's loading in Crown Heights at noon can be at your door in Bed-Stuy by 2 PM. Same-day moving is basically a routing game, and we play it on a home field.

Common questions

How late in the day can I call?

Call as early as you can — mornings give us the most routing room. That said, if a job cancels or finishes early in the afternoon, slots open up. Call or text (646) 708-4344 and we'll check the live route; if today's full, we hold the next morning for you.

Does same-day cost more?

No. Same-day and same-week moves cost exactly the same: 2 movers + truck for 2 hours is $400, and 3 movers + truck for 3 hours is $585. Stairs are $25 per flight after the first free flight. We never charge a rush fee.

What size move can you do same-day?

Studios, 1-bedrooms, and 2-bedrooms are the most common same-day bookings, plus single-item and partial moves. Bigger moves are sometimes possible if the route opens up — call and ask.

Do I need to be packed?

Being packed up speeds everything — and same-day is all about speed. If you're not fully packed, tell us what's left and we'll tell you straight whether it still fits today's window.

Which neighborhoods can you reach same-day?

Anywhere in Brooklyn — Bushwick, Williamsburg, Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights, Park Slope, Greenpoint, Bay Ridge, Flatbush, Sunset Park. We also run Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx same-day when the route allows.
